Biography:

Completed my Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of South Florida.  In 2014 my professional career started by working an internship at Olsen Kundig Architecture, in Seattle, Washington, in which I was able to work a broad range of projects from high-end residential to large scale commercial developments.  After my internship, I moved to Miami and started working for a small firm, Mateu Architecture.  I have been with the firm for 6 years and have had the ability to develop my skills.  Working extremely closely with the principal has allowed me to gain invaluable experience in all phases of architecture.

One of the driving concepts of my architectural approach is the belief that architectural design has a unique responsibility to respond to the community and its environment.  Developing meaningful architecture that is both socially and environmentally responsible will always remain central to my design process.

“Architecture should fit into its context in a way that makes a better whole.” – Jim Olsen
